Detail 2.

Detail 3.

Faulting and slumping in the beds.

A couple of holes are visible in the outcrop. These correspond to organic material, such as tree trunks, which has long since disappeared. Apparently imprints of bark are visible in the holes.
Rieden Domes

The smallest outcrop of the week. The domes are erosion resistant and covered by thick vegetation. This was the only spot where hammering was possible. Same age as the Riedenerberg deposits (~400 ka).
